Wedding Invitations
|
Sample Invitations are available
to help you decide
which invitation best suits your wedding
plans
|
|
An invitation is much more than a piece of paper
announcing your wedding. It sets the style
and tone for the whole day.
As you are going to invite your guests to Tuscany
why don’t you choose a real Florentine paper to write
your cards? Then we can choose together the calligraphy
you like, add pictures and designs if you wish
and let them print or, for a more exclusive touch,
let them handwrite.
|
WHAT Most common words

Invitations are sent out from whoever is hosting the wedding.
Traditionally this is the bride’s parents but these day
it is just as likely to be the couple themselves.

the pleasure of…..at the marriage of their
daughter Joanne to Mr Tom Cole.

RSVP |
|
Adding this short, which means “please respond”
is always very important but, for you, it becomes essential.
Since you are organising your wedding abroad
,you need to know, much in advance how many people
will attend the ceremony and, most of all, will need an accommodation.
An other way is to add the wording "Regrets" or "Regrets Only"
which means that only guests who can't make it need to respond.
This way, the couple assumes that if you don't respond,
you are coming. This way, the couple assumes
that if you don't respond, you are coming.

Maps Cards |
|
This card may is essential, if your guests are coming
to Tuscany by their own means, to ensure that no one
gets lost or ends up arriving late to your event
or to the accommodation chosen.
You can have simple text directions, guiding your guests
step by step or you can also opt to submit either
a hand-drawn map or have the ceremony site give
you a copy of their own map and have it printed
on the card.
Clearly written street names and clear map drawings will certainly help.
|
| |
Accomodation Cards |
|
If you have booked an accommodation for your
guests you will give exact details of the location
including phone numbers and any useful information.
If you are going to let your guests free to reserve
by their own, you should give contacts and details
of the wedding planner who will
take care of their reservation.
|
Plan Cards |
|
If you are going to offer your guests some activities
during their stay in Tuscany like for example wine
tasting lessons with visit of cellars or a relax
day in a thermal spa, a concert evening or an excursion,
if you are going to celebrate together also a rehearsal
dinner, a brunch or a night in disco,
a plan card could be funny and useful touch
which will help your guests understanding how things will be.
|
Programs |
|
Programs are an extra touch that help
guests understand any special rites
that are used in Italian Town Halls or,
in case of religious weddings,
that are unfamiliar to people of a different religion.

OTHER STATIONEY ARTICLES |
|
There are some other printed articles who will
need for your wedding and it could be a good
and convenient idea to order them together with invitation cards.
|
| |
Thank You cards |
|
They can be printed with 'Thank You',
your names, a monogram or a motif on the outside.
The inside is left blank allowing you to write a
small personal message. Thank you notes can match
your wedding invitations or your personality,
just remember that you will need plenty of them.
You will use them to thank people for coming,
for having made a gift, for having sent flowers and so on.
|
| |
Place Cards |
|
Place cards help your guests find which table
they are seated. This is great when you have
a special seating arrangement and you want your
guests to find their place without any problems.
You can give each table a different name or number
which the guests will find also on the table.
You will decorate the place card in according
to the theme of the whole wedding.
The place card could also be helpful
in letting your caterers know who is having
the chicken or the vegetarian option.
You may tie different coloured ribbons
on the place cards or use stickers to
indicate the different meal choices your guests have made.
|
Seating Cards |
|
An other way to help people finding
their place is to put seating cards
directly on the tables, next to the glasses or on the napkins.
|
|
|
Favour Cards |
|
It is quite common to tie a small card
at the favours you have prepared for
your guests where you indicate just
the name of bride and groom together
with the wedding date.
|
The Wedding Guest Book |
|
If you wish to keep a magic souvenir of your wedding,
you can arrange a small table at the entrance
or in the reception hall. You will put an open
blank guestbook on it to give everybody
the chance to let you a thought or memory. You
will have a treasure which will last forever.
